An integration of classical yoga that uses weights to promote toning and strengthening of the body. We will combine alignment and position to isolate key muscles for optimal strength and conditioning.
In this class it's not about how much weight is used, but learning to move with controlled and slow movements to emphasize body awareness to develop strength, coordination, balance and poise.
It is recommended that your first class be performed without weights or 1-2 pound weights (you can even use 12 oz. soup cans) to issue safety for your body. Please bring your own weights.
